Bang Bang Burgers

Today I had the opportunity to try a local restaurant I have had my eye on for over a year now.  And I am glad I decided to finally go.  The restaurant I am referring to is Bang Bang Burgers on East 7th Street in Charlotte.

From the outside of the shopping complex Bang Bang Burgers is located you may think it will be small and cramped.  In all honesty that is one of the reasons I have waited so long to go.  But upon walking in it is not as small as I thought and has ample seating for a restaurant in strip mall.  When I realized this I was super pumped to find a burger to chow down on.

The restaurant I believe would be considered fast casual but the food is definitely high end.  The fresh ingredients used and the creativity of the toppings used is artful and masterful.  Bang Bang Burgers only uses quality ingredients including high quality Black Angus whole muscle cuts such as short rib and chuck produced by Pat La Frieda out of New York City according to their website.

Today I enjoyed the Bang Bang Burger which was cooked to order another thing that is rare to find at many restaurants these days when dealing with burgers.  It was served on an awesome grilled bun with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and their house made pickles and Bangburger sauce.  All burgers are served with their house cut fries which are terrific and not soaked with grease like many other restaurants that offer the same.  If you are a little more health conscious you can substitute the fries for a healthier option like broccoli and garlic oil.

The presentation is fantastic as all burgers are served on a wooden board which gives the burger experience an added touch of class.  This is an awesome local establishment and are avid supporters of supporting local vendors such as the local breweries.  After all what is a good burger without an ice cold local beer!  I am adding a picture of my lunch today just so you can get a glimpse of what they have to offer.  Also a video of the chef talking a little about their meat and menu.  Do not do like I did and wait so long to experience this restaurant.  Go today!
