My name is Micheal Linker, I am a Senior at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. I am from Concord, NC and have lived here all of my life. I study business management and work for a manufacturing company out of Charlotte, NC. My wife and I pictured below have been married for almost 4 years and she also shares my love of local restaurants and live music.
The purpose of my blog is to bring awareness to local restaurants and live music in and around the Charlotte Metro Area. Many people today are looking for more healthy and wholesome foods. The term farm to table comes to mind when talking about local food. The restaurants I cover in my blog are local and not part of huge national chains, but rather small business people looking to give people great food. I also have a passion for live music and do spotlight some local acts I have seen in this blog as well to help bring more attention to the local scene in general. My ideal Friday or Saturday night involve going to a local restaurant having a great meal and listening to some great live music. Hopefully you will be able to find somewhere you have not been and try a local restaurant for some great food!
