Nothing But Noodles!

The title says it all.  Who doesn't like pasta!  I know that is one of my favorite foods.  One of my new favorite restaurants for pasta is Nothing But Noodles with two locations in Charlotte.  The location I visited is in the Elizabeth neighborhood just two doors down from the Visulite Theater on Elizabeth Avenue.  They also have another location located in the Stonecrest Center off Rea Road in Charlotte.

Walking into the restaurant and looking at the menu board can be a little daunting if you are not expecting it.  They have pasta dishes from around the globe from American, Italian, and Asian.  And if you are for some reason not in the mood for pasta, and I do not know why you wouldn't be they have other options for you.  They have an array of different salad options for you and if you need they also have a gluten free menu.

One of my favorite pasta dishes here is the Spicy Cajun Pasta.  With any pasta dish you can add different meats including tofu and different vegetable options.  The Spicy Cajun Pasta has penne pasta with onions and bell peppers and topped with a spicy tomato cream sauce and fresh scallions.  I am a huge fan of spicy food and this is my go to dish when I need my spicy food fix.  I have also had the opportunity to have the beef stroganoff with egg noodles tender beef, sauteed mushrooms, and a rich cream sauce.

Nothing But Noodles is a great alternative to fast food and have taken the meaning of fast-casual to the next level.  Their food is prepared fresh while waiting you can see the cooks creating fresh sauces that will top the array of pasta dishes.  But don't forget dessert!  They may be known for their pasta but don't let them fool you they have a great selection of dessert options as well.  A personal favorite is the Ultimate Chocolate Cake it is a thick decadent piece of chocolate cake with a rich chocolate icing.  A definite must for any chocolate lover!  If you are around any of their two locations around lunch or dinner time stop in and have a great fresh meal instead of that boring fast food meal.
