Whether you live or work in Charlotte or even the surrounding area and need a new lunch spot, I would suggest Crisp. Crisp is a fresh new take on lunch or even dinner and even better all locations are local! The local food movement is growing rapidly and everyone is paying more attention to what they are eating and what better way to start than by checking out this local spot. I have visited the location on Seventh Street in Charlotte while it is small the environment is very upbeat and surprisingly fast from order to receiving your food. You walk in the front door to a long salad bar and two chefs working the line with their tongs and stainless bowls ready to customize your salad anyway you want. You have the pick of the freshest ingredients that are constantly being replenished because of the sheer volume of people walking in for a fresh and fantastic meal. If salads are not your thing Crisp also has sandwiches which are some of the best I have tasted my favorite is the Chophouse with grilled steak and caramelized onions, fresh romaine lettuce, provolone cheese, and a very scrumptious horseradish remoulade. They also boast daily soups and pizzas at the Seventh Street location only. If you are in a rut and cannot figure out where to eat whether it be lunch or dinner try one of Crisp's locations I promise the drive will be worth it.
Check out their website with locations and complete menu.
I like many others have decided to incorporate more local foods in my diet. My husband and I are always looking for local farm to table restaurants to try out. The link to the menu is awesome and the website really captures Crisp's local flare. Thanks for the recommendation!
